It is 103 degrees. The heat index is 109. Oklahoma has now logged 16 days above 100 this year, and EMSA has run more than 170 heat-related calls since July 1. The forecast says relief is coming somewhere around the 19th, which in August terms is roughly the same as saying "eventually." Who can forecast that far ahead, anyway?
