The kids are out of school and the office has gone quiet. That's the best CLE window you'll get before the December rush.
Fall break feels strange to a practicing lawyer. Kids are home. Half your office is at a pumpkin patch, a deer lease, or Granny's house. Opposing counsel's autoreply says they'll be back Monday. The docket thins out just a touch.
If you're home with the kids, there's still a stretch every day when nobody needs you. That's a CLE hour. Use it.
The Oklahoma requirement hasn't changed: 12 credits by December 31, at least 2 of them ethics. There is no cap on online, on-demand credit; all 12 can come from recorded courses.
From this weekend to December 31 is about eleven weeks. If you haven't started yet, you need more than one credit per week. Do one hour a day during fall break and the rest of the year gets easier still.

Next week, once the kids are back: one more. That's three hours down before Halloween and nine left with about nine weeks to do them.
