We often talk about "textbook cases." But every once in a while, a case comes along that feels less like a textbook and more like a noir thriller.

At Houts Law, PLLC, we recently wrapped up a case that had everything: a gruesome crime, a lengthy search for justice, and a complex web of insurance claims. The Case That Spanned Years

In January 2017, the discovery of David Atchison II’s body—dragged through the streets postmortem—marked the beginning of a legal odyssey. At the center of the storm was a $500,000 life insurance pot and a line of claimants vying for the payout.
